When students feel stressed or overwhelmed on campus, Merri’s got them covered! The two-year-old black Labrador — whose name was the result of a campus-wide vote — is a certified comfort dog and full-time working member of the Merrimack College police department.
Merri joined the Merrimack family from Hero Pups Inc., a non-profit organization that provides service dogs to veterans and first responders. A big fan of chewy toys, she spends her days walking around campus spreading joy and providing comfort to those who are going through a hard time.
