The Merrimack Police Academy, which welcomed its first cohort in Fall 2021, allows students to complete their police academy certification while earning a Master of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice in just one year. The first program in Massachusetts to take this approach to training, the Merrimack Police Academy hopes to foster a new generation of highly educated, socially aware police leaders.
