Merrimack athletics is at the top of its game. After years of success at Division II (including consecutive men’s lacrosse national championships in 2018 and 2019), the College made the jump to D1 in 2018, accepting an invitation to become the 11th member of the Northeast Conference.
Since then, the program has put up big wins against D1 rivals, welcomed the campus’ first Warrior marching band, and set attendance records at homecoming and individual matches alike. Building on this success, the College will step into full Division I membership in the 2023–24 season. Like the institution at large, Merrimack athletics is on the rise—and there’s no stopping it now.
